With a library card you’ll have access to hundreds of print and digital resources from a variety of organizations such as HPL, other Lakeland Cooperative libraries, MeL (Michigan eLibrary), Overdrive, Hoopla, and more!
It’s simple to sign up and free.
How do I get a card?
Children under 18 will need a parent or guardian to co-sign for a library card.
In response to COVID-19, we are offering temporary cards that allow access to our Digital Library for three months. Please visit the HPL Digital Library page for more details about the available items.
To receive temporary digital access, you must live in the HPL’s service area, the same as the Muskegon Public Schools District. We can only issue one card per person. Temporary cards can be made permanent by visiting the Library during regular hours of operation with a valid driver’s license or ID and proof of current address.
Sign up by filling out the form below, and staff will contact via email within 72 hours.
