HPL - Kids

Hackley Public Library is excited to launch a coding club just for girls!  We are an official host site for the international Girls Who Code organization.  The club is open to students grade 6 and up.  In the club, girls will master the basics of coding like loops, variables, functions, and conditionals to name a few.  We will meet every Monday evening starting in January through the end of May.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Please register online at www.hackleylibrary.org or by calling 231-722-8014.

Monthly Makers: Scratch Coding

Curious about computer coding but don't know where to start? Start with Scratch! We'll lead you through a basic overview of Scratch--a programming language and online community developed by MIT.
This program works best for students age 8 and up and is open to the first 20 participants. Registration is required.
