The MCC Center for Experiential Learning is hosting a candidate forum with several Republican and Democratic Primary candidates for the Muskegon County Board of Commissioners.
Monday, July 9, 6:30-8 p.m.
- 34th State Senate District – Republican Primary Candidates: Jon Bumstead and Holly Hughes
- 91st State Representative District – Republican Primary Candidates: Alan Jager and Greg Van Woerkom
Monday, July 16, 6:30-8 p.m.
- 34th State Senate District – Democratic Primary Candidates: Poppy Sias-Hernandez and Collene Lamonte
- 91st State Representative District – Democratic Primary Candidates: Tonya Cabala and Andy O’Riley
The forum format consists of candidates’ opening statements followed by selected questions pertaining to three general topics that will be identified in advance. The open primary election will be held on August 7 and the general election will be held on November 6, 2018. Commissioners serve two-year terms.
