West Michigan Voices: ZINE LAUNCH!

Come celebrate the launch of HPL’s West Michigan Voices: Zine Collection!

This is Michigan’s fist community-based zine collection, where all zines have been submitted by adults 18 and older living in the West Michigan area.
Drop in anytime during open hours on Friday, October 7 (9-5pm), and take a peek at the very first zines in our collection.

What’s a zine, you ask? Zines can be almost anything! They are typically homemade booklets (copy/printer paper folded and stapled), and can include stories, artwork, poetry, photography, family history/recipes, etc.

There will be information on how to get involved with the collection, plus we’ll have some giveaways and light refreshments, as supplies last. Free.
