MARKET MUSIC at the Grand Haven Farmers Market

Courtyard Concerts is pleased to announce its partnership with the Grand Haven Farmers Market and the Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg Chamber every Saturday til the end of October. Courtyard concerts is coordinating all of the music and providing the sound. Local artists include Chris Wiser, Ruth and Max Bloomquist, loren Johnson, and Plain Jane Glory just to name a few. These are shine only events and music will be performed between 10 and noon.

Depot to Depot Fall Color Tour

Muskegon County Convention and Visitors Bureau

Gather your friends and family to experience vibrant fall colors at the Depot-to-Depot Fall Color Tour! This free, self-guided tour happens from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on October 7, 14, 21 and 28. “Color Tourers” can pick up a map at either the Muskegon County Convention & Visitors Bureau or the White Lake Area Chamber/CVB. Visit stops along the way to win great prizes! Refreshments will be served at both the Muskegon and Whitehall Depots and kids will receive a free pumpkin that they can decorate on-the-spot.

Do you enjoy roleplaying? Then bring a bag lunch and join other people who do as well. Pathfinder RPG system will be the first system used. Never played before but are curious? That's fine; come and create a new character or bring along one of your old Dungeons and Dragons characters and adapt it to Pathfinder. Open to adults and teens.

Haunted Hall

The Lakes Mall

Friday and Saturday nights in October from 7:00pm – 11:00pm, come to the Lakes Mall for The Haunted Hall! Shake and cower with fright at “The Asylum,” “Phobia,” “The Fun House” and “3-D!”  Enter all four haunts for only $15.00.  Tickets can be purchased at the door with cash or credit card.  Save $1.00 for every canned good you donate to Love, Inc. at the ticket office with a maximum of $3.00 off per ticket.

Haunted Trail

Michigan's Heritage Park

This afterhours event will examine the legends, myths, and ghost stories from the 1600s through the early 1900s. Over a dozen local actors from Muskegon Civic Theatre and volunteers will be stationed at the stops along the half mile trail creating a historic haunted atmosphere. The event is recommended for ages 13 and over. Tours will be from 7:30 to 10:30 pm and the cost is $15 a person. www.lakeshoremuseum.org
