Water: Paintings by Sheryl Budnik and Mary Sundstrom

From a placid, introspective pool to a roaring, ship-wrecking beast, water is the subject of paintings by Michigan artists Sheryl Budnik and Mary Sundstrom on exhibit in Muskegon Community College’s Overbrook Gallery from Sept. 25 through Oct. 26, 2017.

The gallery, located on the MCC main campus at 221 S. Quarterline Road, is free and open to the public. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, with special weekend and evening hours during performances in the adjacent Overbrook Theater. A free public reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 4-5:30 p.m. in Overbrook Gallery with a gallery talk by the artists at 4:30 p.m.

Tempting Tables

Holiday Inn-Muskegon Harbor

October 18 – 21, come to the Holiday Inn Muskegon Harbor for “Tempting Tables: Tablescapes and Collections!”  Tempting Tables is a grassroots volunteer organization that showcases exquisite, elaborate and creative TABLESCAPES.  This is a fundraiser with 100% of the ticket proceeds benefiting breast cancer research in Michigan.

Haunted Hall

The Lakes Mall

Friday and Saturday nights in October from 7:00pm – 11:00pm, come to the Lakes Mall for The Haunted Hall! Shake and cower with fright at “The Asylum,” “Phobia,” “The Fun House” and “3-D!”  Enter all four haunts for only $15.00.  Tickets can be purchased at the door with cash or credit card.  Save $1.00 for every canned good you donate to Love, Inc. at the ticket office with a maximum of $3.00 off per ticket.
